Course outline
This course provides scaffold erectors with the knowledge and skills required to safely and efficiently erect and dismantle access scaffolding in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Participants will learn to interpret basic drawings and instructions, coordinate resources, and manage scaffolding operations within a construction environment. The training emphasizes hazard recognition, safety procedures, and the responsibilities of scaffold erectors. Learners will be equipped to lead scaffold teams upon successful completion, ensuring structural integrity and worker safety. This course is accredited by the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) and aligns with Unit Standard 263245.
